[RP Backstory]
Master Blacksmith, Tinkerer, and Investor

Medium height for her race, stark platinum white hair sometimes flaring streaks of orange or a dark green depending on the styling, she is a modest bodied and not heavy chested woman. Bright emerald eyes, and usually found in smithing attire, hunting getup, or mining stirrups. Sometimes, she dresses up, but always on her own accord - though sometimes she does enjoy looking pretty for special someone's - just don't call her cute, she might bite. In fact, she will bite, and probably try to gauge your eyes out...Birth name of Y'Shora, last name unknown. 35-ish years old, though she has lost almost all her memory prior to 30. Her current name is the product of her discovery and saving outside of Ishgard. Found in mines, covered in snow and thought surely dead, the miner found she was miraculously still breathing, pulse slow.. Carrying her back to the master smithy he worked for under the house name Grimsrude, they managed to bring the woman back to good health. Finding a notebook or maybe diary on her, dawning a lock without a apparent keyhole, the master looked for clues to her origin, finding the only words Shorazomee. Since then, she went by the name Shorazomee, or Shora, and family name Grimsrude. Other, more clan-centric Miqo'te tend to scoff at her name, so in such company she dawns a Y'Shora moniker.A master blacksmith, she pays either in gil or arms customers, regardless of intent. Stoic when confronted with business, or anyone new and unfamiliar. She does, however, have a soft spot for women, especially younger or shorter Miqo'te, and can see some of her softer side interacting with such. Though lavished in a fair amount of gil, she mostly enjoys her craft, especially dealing with rare or expensive, exotic materials. In fact, while not entirely sure of the origin of such skills, she has a rather unnatural knack for deciphering a materials uses, abilities, and properties.Shora does find herself paying for sexual escapades, notably because romantically, most finding her personality something of a turn off at face value, even if attractiveness isn't an issue...The mystery of her past hasn't been a goal of hers to solve for some time. The little book, that can sometimes be seen walking around with apparent legs made of bookmarks, follows her randomly, taunting her of a promise to knowledge of a life she clearly can never return to. Having travelled a fair bit in the recent year since recover, she hasn't found anyone that (at least admits to) recognize her - and thus her opinion on the such is that past life must not have had much for her, anyways. While this isn't entirely true in actuality, the details of which are open to explore..

History [RP]

Found nearly dead high up in Ishgardian mountains, and taken in by a blacksmith to the royals and the church. As repayment for saving her life, she picked up smithing under her Master, only to find the skills came far too natural to her.Over time, her Master declared Shora's natural talents were even far beyond that of his own, and after some time developing her own clientele, Shora left to establish her own shop, using her skills to arm militias, criminals, and adventurers alike. With her influx of gil coming in, she found she was able to pay way for specific hunts and deeds to be done. Becoming a broker of sorts, and a neutral funder for any who was willing to do work for her, she began a journey of rediscovering her past and relishing in her own curiosity of the strange materials scattered through the world.Willing to pay handsomely for mercenaries or adventurers to acquire such materials by any means- sometimes even joining them if the situation requires or her interest desires. In the opposite end, she often finds herself working with alchemists.. her skills in material properties opening up a window to many interesting medicinal and magical effects...
